PHYS 400 Physics
$1,200
This single-semester course offers an in-depth examination of the essential laws, theories, and mathematical principles in a college-level physics survey. The curriculum covers classical mechanics, electricity and magnetism, and modern physics. Key topics include the basics of science, kinematics, dynamics, energy, momentum, waves, electricity, magnetism, quantum mechanics, and relativity. Although there is no laboratory component, students are expected to grasp the material conceptually and solve mathematical problems using algebra-based physics equations.
Prerequisites: College Algebra; high-school physics recommended
